INTRODUCTION

Gin Rummy is a traditional card game that requires strategic thinking and skill. Players aim to arrange their cards into sets and runs while minimizing the number of cards that don't fit into any combination. The game continues until a player reaches the predetermined target score, usually set at 100 points. It's a race against your opponent to outsmart them and emerge as the victor.


GAMEPLAY

  1. Objective: Reduce the number of "deadwood" cards in your hand by forming sets and runs.
  • Sets: Combinations of cards with the same rank (e.g., three 7s).
  • Runs: Sequential cards of the same suit (e.g., 4, 5, 6 of Hearts).
  1. Scoring:
  • The remaining deadwood points in your opponent's hand are added to your score.
  • To maximize your points, knock or declare "go gin" when you have no deadwood cards.
  1. Winning:
  • The first player to reach or exceed 100 points wins the game.
  • Ensure that your opponent does not reach 100 points before you do!
